Here's a random conversation I overheard between 3 of my students while they were coloring today (probably some jungle book or something)...
Student 1: Baby lions are sooo cute!
Student 2: Yeah, I think they're so cute but they lick.
Student 3: Yeah, I don't like when they lick.
So many thoughts here........ I'm going to need to really emphasize the difference between animals that are safe to be licked by and animals we should keep our distance from in our social studies Farm Animals lesson........How often does this kid get licked by baby lions?!!!

Do you think ther reeally mean lions? I thought they were talking about cats.
That's even FUNNIER if they thought baby lions were cats! I'm LOL at that! I wish I had thought that to get clarification.
