Photo-a-day challenge

So, I decided to borrow an idea from my friend Anna, who borrowed it from our friend Brittany. I'm going to do the photo a day challenge! I will try to post at least once weekly in order to keep up with the 7 photo entries per week.

Basically, I'll aim at getting at least one photo a day posted. I figured what better time to mark the commencement of this than my birthday.

My Father has been so faithful to me and with each passing year I see and understand this more as well as am given a deeper and growing awareness and walk with Him. I was very surprised that this special birthday crept up on me this year and without fear and trepidation. The only thing I could think was, "what an amazing life I've been blessed with and every year keeps getting better". So I anticipate with joy and thankfulness what the Father has in store for me this year and the lessons and truths He will be revealing to me with each passing day in the future!"

I have had 30 years to experience and see God's faithful kindnesses and this my 30th birthday only served to make more vivid the sweet and precious remembrances of who He is and of His love demonstrated in so many ways to me.

Today's photo-the first of the photo challenge-is of me with my dear friend on my birthday. She and her roomie hosted a get together for me (unfortunately, I didn't get a pic with her before she went to bed). She is one of many blessings the Father has given. Her constant friendship (despite getting to know me better) has served to remind me of His love and care for me.
