THEY'RE COMING!!!!!

Today was my last day in the classroom before my kids show up for their 1st, full day of Kindergarten. I did NOT feel ready for anything this morning. Quite possibly because I stayed up too late (against my better judgement and convictions) my head was not clear.

In staff meeting I was really convicted when the topic that the secondary principal brought up was "finding your rest". I thought okay, I already KNOW I'm guilty of not doing this. We JUST spoke about this yesterday and I failed majorly in applying it last night. Clearly, this is a message I'm not getting or applying!"

I was really thankful for this discussion and how I was forced to think through this again and how I should be applying it.
