I am so thankful for how my Father sustains and enables me to ministering at the center after a long day at work and how He has blessed me with the fellowship of my small group afterward. I'm always amazed by the strength and alertness I have to press on.
Yesterday was a slow day at the center and there was a pleasant surprise at small group because Em and DW decided to make us pancakes and eggs! I LOVE breakfast so this was a special treat for me. It was really nice fellowshipping with each other and sharing life and what our Father has been teaching us over our meal. Although I'm ready to drop in bed wholesale by the time I get home, I feel spiritually refueled through the love and support I get to serve and love my Father from my sisters. It kind of reminds me of this one song from a group I loved in my middle-high school years, Acapella. "There's nothing as sweet as fellowship as we share each others' lives."
Today's weather was absolutely LOVELY! We didn't have an SST meeting after school so I came home and made the most out of the day and went out for a run. I hadn't been out for a run since before Christmas when my brother was here and we went running a couple of times. The weather has been so brutally cold and I'm such a bear, I stay inside unless I must and would sleep all winter if I could. It was a really nice run. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to handle it because it had been so long but I did over 2 miles and didn't feel like I was dying! I also had a really good time talking to my Father and can't wait till the weather is more cooperative and I can go out more.
