The ceremony was beautiful and I was really challenged by Thabiti's message while officiating about the purpose and responsibilities one takes on in a marriage.
It was a good reminder that in light of everything that's going on in the world and how lightly marriage is taken in our culture, that in God's eyes while marriage is a blessing, it's most definitely not a thing to be taken lightly and requires a lot of selfless work.
