A SEASON FOR EVERYTHING
So on this my last week off before I head back to work, I enjoyed my time but lamented the fact that my opportunities to freely get together with people were coming to an end.

Earlier this week, I headed out with a friend from church to visit with some of my Sunday school students at their home. I had SUCH a great time!

We helped prepare a lunch tea of cucumber and egg salad sandwiches and had the most delicious lemon bread. We got to participate in a part of their geography home schooling activity and create landforms.

Later, we played croquet with the two eldest kids while the youngest worked on his photography skills with my camera. I MUST return and redeem myself! Then it was time to head out. The kids persuaded us to play just one round of Indian tag before leaving. I learned how to play Indian tag as well as the fact that these kids were pretty clever. They made us "it" which meant that the game probably went for at least 20 minutes longer! I still can't believe that between the two of us adults we couldn't manage to tag 3 children! LOTS of fun. I can't wait to be able to do it again.

Later on this week, I was able to spend some time with my friends and their twins over dinner, getting the twins ready for bed

and then a good time of fellowship and prayer with their parents later.

I'm reminded of Ecclesiastes 3:1 To everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven. I'm sad that summer is over but thankful for the many blessings that God has given me in friends, trips and the ability to have summers off to enjoy this wonderful season in my life.
