Towards the close of Charoy's graduation party, my uncle had invite his pastor and pastor's wife to say a few words to Charoy.

It was really heartwarming for me to see my uncle's life at this point. He has always been such a fun person to be around but it was always clear that he was living his life his way. However, he had for a long time chosen to trust only in himself and live his life his way, based on his own understanding. Over the past few years many prayers have been answered and he has come to start living life no longer for himself but for the One who gave His life so that he could have life to the fullest.

I had heard of this change but since its been years since I've seen them I'd yet to witness it for myself. It was almost overwhelming to hear him speak of our Father and credit Him for so much in life. I'm overjoyed to see him desiring to and faithfully leading his family the way he is supposed to in our Father's strength! I think the whole trip has been a reminder for me of how unworthy we all are and how loving the Father is that He would choose to make and call us His own despite the fact that we have NOTHING to offer Him, as well as how He can do anything even things that our minds can't fathom or may doubt.
