When I got into town and met up with my family they were overwhelmed with these. These are straw gift bags. My family brought in 150 of these as wedding favors. Unfortunately, the person they employed to make them did not do a great job on them. Fortunately, my mother's family grew up making straw bags and my grandmother and aunt even taught me. So the days leading up to the wedding were filled with several of us undoing and reworking the bags to get them presentable and ready for the wedding dinner.

A finished bag. Seriously, my family is planning on going into business to provide these bags for Bahamians or others who are interested. They put a few Bahamian treats and knicknacks inside each.
